Carolina Treasured Doodles

Faq

In general, a Micro is between 3 and 10 pounds fully grown, a Teacup is from 7-17 pounds fully grown. These weights are not guaranteed as Mother Nature decides this along with how much exercise they get during the day. The weights are a basic guide.

No, they are not. Outdoor activities, playing with your kiddos, taking walks, hiking with you, kayaking with a vest, are all enjoyed by Goldendoodles. and much more. But they are not bred to live outside.

Please remember when choosing a puppy that these are small dogs and are easy prey for larger animals or predatory birds when they are YOUNG.  The Micros will always be small so easy targets. A fenced in area is recommended for these dogs for their safety while outside.

Never leave your puppy alone outside. Ours are members of our family and protected as such. Someone is always in attendance while outdoors for play and pottying.

They are great companion dogs for hiking, taking on vacation, going to the park, wherever you go! (Always walk on a leash)

We recommend feeding your puppy/dog a food that gets at least a 3.5 out of 4 rating. We feed our pups Purina Pro Plan small breed, small bites. Our parent dogs eat Nutro. Your Vet will be an excellent source of information on their diet, please consult them.  Ultimately this is your choice. However, cheap food can lead to many health issues as well as diarrhea. This will make house-breaking an unpleasant event for all.

Your puppy deserves the best of care.  A Quality food makes for a Healthy, Happy puppy. Feed the recommended amount for their weight. NO TABLE FOOD!  This is a very bad habit to start and almost impossible to undue. As with ALL dogs, No chocolate, onions, garlic, yeast bread, Grapes, raisins, GUM !.( Xylitol found in gum can be fatal! BE AWARE that some sugar free Peanut Butter contains Xylitol . Read labels carefully)
